the day didn't end there

hi again. so my day didn't end with daxmans party. after my nap we went out to dripping springs where some friends have some property for another party. it was a baby brother bash. two friends are going to have new baby brothers. i played in the sand and the kiddie pool and all kinds of other stuff. i'm sooooo tired. i think i'll go to bed now.

happy birthday dax!!

today was my cousin dax birthday. it was soo much fun. he has the nicest friends. we ate fajitas and cake and played with his sand and water table as well as a bubble machine. i left the party good and tired. it was a good day.

13 months

yesterday i turned 13 months old. let me share with you what i've accomplished in the last month. i took my first step...on my own...on my birthday and have gotten very good at it. walking is now my preferred mode of transportation. i have 10 teeth, this includes two of my one year molars and i have my other two coming is as i speak. my molars sure making eating a lot easier. mommy didn't even know they were coming in till i bit grandma...sorry grandma. i've learned how to click my tongue and we're working on kissy faces. mommy thought i said dog last week but now she's thinking it was just a new sound i made 'cause i haven't said it since. i'm starting to learn what things are though and if asked to point them out i can do that. i know mommy, daddy, my cup and my dogs. i'm also starting to recognize other animals in my picture book. i hope i haven't missed anything.

these are the picture mommy took for daddy to celebrate fathers day. we gave the first one to daddy and he has it on his desk at work.

daxmans party shirt

mommy and i had lunch with aunt karen and dax last week at the domain. afterwards we played in the water spout. dax was walking like a pro...i was a little jealous. but now worries. i walked like a rock star this weekend. anyway, i digress, aunt karen brought the party shirt we gave dax to wear after he'd dried off. mommy and i were so excited to see him in it. he looks so cute!!

playgroup

mommy, daddy and i went to playgroup at the water spouts on friday. as always it was super fun. these are some of my friends. and some pictures of me, of course.

birthday party

yesterday was my party. i had so much fun. there was friends and presents and cake. i started my day off busting my lip on my crib after nap time. no biggy, except for the fat lip. it was soon forgotten and i had the best time. i got some great new toys and had my first taste of cake. mommy and daddy were hoping i'd destroy my piece and i didn't disappoint, there are lots of these photos so beware. then i got to spend the night with grandma who discovered i'd cut one of my 1st year molars! mommy thinks i'm cutting one on the bottom too. such a busy weekend.
