quick update

hey everyone,

i've been a little sick this last week. i'm getting over my cold. mommy took me to the doctor yesterday and i have what looks like the beginning of an ear infection, though. dr jolet gave me an antibiotic but i seem to be doing well with just tylenol so mommy is going to see if i can make without taking it. mommy also had her look at my front tooth. mommy was worried i had a cavity but it's just abnormality in my enamel. i'll have to visit a dentist soon though. i get my first tooth brushing tonight....we'll let you know how that goes. all in all i've been in the best mood. you'd never know i wasn't feeling well. mommy and daddy are sick now. i don't know why they're not as happy as i was when i was sick.

oh!! and my weight is up to 20.3 pounds!!!!

standing up

hello, today i stood all by myself. i've been doing it for about a week now, but only for a few seconds. now i can stand for a whole minute. it's pretty exciting. that's what i've been working on. mommy's been making cupcakes and daddy worked from home today.

bluebonnets

mommy and aunt karen took dax and i out for a photo shoot in the bluebonnets. these were taken right next to a helipad. we had to be sneaky since there were no trespassing signs up. but it was worth it 'cause these were the bluest ones we could find. this first one is one of mommy's all time favs. thanks for taking such a great picture aunt karen!!

11 months old

today i'm 11 months old. this has been a busy month for me. i've learned to wave AND clap my hands...picked that one up yesterday as a matter of fact. i've also gotten 2 new teeth, one on top and one on bottom. i'm getting better at walking but am very cautious about it. haven't tried it with out holding on to something. mommy took these earlier today when we were out and about.

swimming

mommy and i went swimming today with miss marilisa and caleb. they invited us to be guests at their gym. the pool was inside so it was kind of ecoie which scared me at first. i wouldn't let go of mommy and cried a little. but then she showed me that is was like splashing in the bathtub. once i understood that it was super fun. we can't wait for more swimming this summer.

jammy jams

these are my favorite jammy jams right now. aren't they cute? the froggy on my tush has a bee on his tounge. oh, and don't over look the webbed feet. but best of all my froggy jammy jams are soooo comfy to sleep in.

piggy tail

it's so exciting! my hair is getting longer. so long in fact that mommy was able to put it up in my very first piggy tail. i know...i know...it's ity bity, but a piggy none the less.
